Almost all the important sights are within walking distance. In 5-10 minutes you will reach the historical old town along the Rhine river, with bars and restaurants, the pedestrian zone with cafés and shopping, the Opera house and the world famous Cologne Philharmonie as well as several museums.

The trade fair (Köln Messe) is 2 minutes away on the train or 15 to 20 minutes walk. The trade fair in Düsseldorf is also just a short train ride away.

The location was brilliant and was near to the station. Hotel staff were fantastic, the food at breakfast was exceptional - most of locally sourced or even home made and each day's menu was based on a different country theme. Reception were extremely helpful and also loved the sweet left on my bed every day. The buffet itself was superb. . Read review

Well located and proximity to the central station. Hotel small and friendly, the location would have been good without the nearby major building works, the reception team couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms are fantastic and tea are excellent.

The location is great and made Hotel Domstern feel like a home away from home. Staff are pleasant and the bathroom is very big. The breakfast is absolutely amazing.

The location is great, i have stayed in many many european hotels and staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is also good is included in the price.
