Conti Hotel - Cologne, Germany 

Great LIttle Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights are were extremely pleased with what we got. The room was quite spacious and very clean. Excellent beds and pillows! The only fault i might add is that we had a room at the front of the property, right under the neon advertising sign (Room 106). Apart from that, i couldn't really fault the room at all. The reception staff are very helpful and make check-in and check-out quite painless. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of variety. I would definately stay at this hotel again and have no hesitations in recommending it. Took 45 minutes from Koln/Bonn airport to Hotel via train/underground. Plenty of nice restaurants and shops close by. Tram stop at the end of the street with departures every few minutes to the city centre. Overall...good value.

Bad: Stayed for two night I would expect a three star rated hotel to have a Mini bar in the room not a vending machine in the hall way. Also the room smells and the bathroom stinks and had no proper ventilation Good- This Hotel is quite close to a few restaurant and bar

We just stayed at the Conti Hotel in Cologne and it was way better than our expectations! Considering the rate the Conti Hotel is even excellent. The rooms are not spacious and the interior is a bit basic. But eveything is very clean and well taken care of. Rooms at the back of the hotel are quiet. Bathroom is very well equipped and also very clean. Receptionists friendly. Breakfast is excellent for a hotel in this category; all hot and cold dishes and well taken care of. Coffee was indeed the worst item ... strong and bitter. Location is fine, not far from city centre (5 minutes walk to Neumarkt) and many nice restaurants nearby.
