The hotel is situated directly at the Cologne University Hospital, only a few steps from the railway connection, in order to reach the Cologne Fair (approximately 15 minutes) and Cologne Downtown (approximately 10 minutes). The house has represented Cologne for 40 years. It offers, besides its bar and restaurant, a wonderful garden terrace. From many of our rooms, you have a direct view of our "green oasis". Our staff always offers a family atmosphere to you and is available to you at any time for questions or tips for what to do in Cologne. Our reception is open daily from 07:00 to 22:00. Hotel has no own parking lots.

From the A4 motorway, take the "Köln-Klettenberg" exit towards Cologne Klettenberg and drive on the Luxemburger Road (B265). Leave the Luxemburger Road and turn left into the University Road. Before the "University of" underpass (large crossing), turn left into Zülpicher Road. The hotel is on the left side.
From the Cologne fair, drive toward Olpener Road (right of way road) in the direction of the centre, towards the Deutzer Bridge. Go onto the "Neumarkt". Bear in the middle to drive around the NE marks far straight out. At the Rudolfplatz, drive straight ahead over the crossing. At the next crossing, pass the crossing on the Aachener Road straight out, in order to make an immediate U-turn. After the underpass, turn right into the Zülpicher Road. The hotel is on the left side.
By train: From Cologne Main Station (Dom Hauptbahnhof), you take line 17 to Ubierring and you get out in Neumarkt. From there, you take line 9 to Sülz and you get out in Zülpicher Strasse/Gürtel, there is the hotel.

generally, i thought the hotel was adequate. my room was small but clean. however, the heater did not work and i had to sleep under 3 blankets wearing a sweater and socks. my reception was very poor. first, no one received me. the front desk was empty and even after i rang the bell several times, no one showed up. i thought maybe i was at the wrong hotel. so i went outside to check the name and address and i was at the right place. eventually someone did show up but he seemed rather annoyed to have been disturbed to help me. he was not very helpful and annoyed when i asked him questions like where my room was located, what was served for breakfast, how did i get to the city. he did not offer to help me with my bags either. as he was the first person i interacted with at the hotel, he really soured my impression of the hotel. however, i was happy to see that another employee was working the next morning and she was rather helpful and nice. the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood although it is not close to the cathedral. however, it is very easy to take the train to the main tourist destinations like the cathedral and the train station.
