What Travellers Like

Me and my boyfriend were allocated a double bedded room on the 4th floor left hand side (471) which was quite a nice room it had enough room for what it was used for and a nice bathroom, which was a little on the small side but again was easily big enough for what it was needed for. My mum and her friend were allocated a twin room on the 5th floor again left hand side (580)this room was fantastic the room was massive, (i think it is used as there special needs room) this room was their suite! This hotel was in such an ideal location quite a few nice bars and restaurants surrounding it quite a nice bar to visit is the 'GIGA CENTER' and the nicest restaurant was 'Joe champs all american sports bar'for both of these all you do it turn left out of the hotel and at the end of the street take the first left again at the end of this block the last restaurant is joes and if you turn left there a few doors down is the giga center this has video games etc internet access a restaurant 2 bars etc. The hotels location is great you are at the rudolfplatz for those going for the xmas markets this is where one is located, if you walk pretty much in a straight line you will then come to newmarkt (another market) in about 10mins and then the main shopping area about 2 mins from there which you can get quite easily to the Dom cathedral from there.. Have visited Cologne several times and this is the best value 3 star hotel we have stayed in. We booked two rooms - both of which were very large, light, quiet and clean. My room faced onto main road but only heard traffic noise when opened window.. Read review
