Un gran hotel

Wenn Sie dieses Hotel buchen wollen, was ich sehr empfehlen kann !! - sollten Sie genau die online Preise prüfen, wenn Sie Geld sparen wollen (ansonsten können Sie im nächsten Abschnitt weiter lesen). Hopper vermarktet seine Zimmer teilweise bei sog. Hotelbrokern wie GTA London (otel, ebookers etc.) die - wie in unserem Fall - das Doppelzimmer z.B. für 85 EUR incl. Frühstück verkaufen (regulär 155 EUR). Wie das ganze genau funktioniert habe ich nie verstanden, einzig die Vorauszahlung (Stornogebühren!) ist etwas unflexibel. Wir hatte ein Zimmer mit kleiner Dachterasse (mit Stühlen) und Blick auf den Dom. Der Zugang zur Terasse durch die Dusche (!) ist für manch einen wohl etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist. "Boutique Design" auf ganzer Linie, etwas wenig Ablagemöglichkeit im Bad (Handtücherhaken fehlen!). Absolut ruhige Lage, Parkgarage gegenüber (13EUR/24h), WLAN gegen Gebühr (glaube 10 EUR/24h), allerdings hat ein findiger Nachbar wohl den code geknackt und bietet ein kostenloses Netz "hacked" an - einfach einloggen gehtr wunderbar ;-) Frühstück war sehr individuell, alles frisch, warm und kalt, auf Wunsch Cappucino. Fazit: gerne wieder - zu dem Preis in Köln ein absolutes Schnäppchen. ACHTUNG: Sauna kostet pro Person 15 EUR, was ich etwas überzogen finde, sollte wie sonst üblich in Deutschland inclusive sein!!!

Me alojé aquí durante el Carnaval...Nos cambiamos a una habitación mejor, a una Suite Junior, que creo que nos costó unos 175€ (de los 125€ que costaba la otra). La habitación estaba muy, muy bien. Por dentro está bastante guay. Tiene muchas obras arte y cosas de esas. Era muy moderno, pero probablemente lo construyeron hace al menos 5 o 6 años. La habitación en sí era luminosa y estaba bien ventilada. El calorcito venía del suelo climatizado, que estaba calentito, algo un tanto inusual. Sólo había 2 toallas pequeñas en nuestra habitación, tuvimos que llamar y pedir otra. Sin embargo, no estoy muy convencido de que pagar lo que costó de más la Junior Suite mereciese realmente la pena...estoy seguro de que podríamos haber conseguido una habitación del mismo tamaño en cualquier otro sitio por mucho menos dinero. El Wi-Fi costaba 15€...aaahhh El desayuno que incluía no era muy bueno. Se trataba del desayuno buffet tipo continental típico que te dan en cualquier hotel, pero lo que había de comer en sí era bastante malo. Además lo que realmente era malísimo era la camarera o lo que fuese, que era una exageración de grosera y nos trataba de mala manera y dejaba una mala impresión del hotel. La ubicación distaba unas manzanas de lo que sería la ubicación "ideal", pero aun así era buena. Estaba a unos 13-15 minutos a pie de la zona de la Catedral/estación central. Creo que la estación de metro más cercana se encontraba a unas 3 o 4 calles.

Fantastic place to stay

I have just returned from a four night stay at the Hopper for our 10th Wedding anniversary and would highly recommend a stay for couples or business people. The staff were excellent throughout, very helpful and their English put us to shame. The hotel is minimalist style in the bedrooms, and our's was large,airy and spotlessly clean. The atmosphere in the bar was great and the prices were the same as in the town, and I have to say the barstaff gave generous measures. We looked at loads of hotels and whilst this one was a little further away it was well worth it. We made a point of returning early each night to enjoy some drinks in the bar. If you do get tired of walking into the Old Town each night to eat, turn left out of the hotel, walk straight up to the main road and cross over. You will find a multitude of bars and restaurants there to discover.
