Hotel Sportzentrum - Cologne, Germany 

O.K For 1 Night

We stayed at the Sportzentrum for one night in a family room for four people. The room was small with two single beds and a bunk bed and so felt very cramped. However it was only about five minutes from the airport and as we only stayed there overnight it was fine for our needs. Breakfast was included in our rate but there was only a limited choice. Its location is fine for an airport stop over but was too far out of Cologne to use on a sight seeing trip. The nearest train station is about a twenty minute walk.

When they say it's 'secluded' they do mean it! This hotel is a fair bit out of he city, but it is well connected by public transport. Would probably choose somewhere closer to the city next time but did manage to meet some goats on the way to the train station! The room was clean and very small. There wasn't the usual locality guide or even phone guide on how to call reception. But the breakfast was good.
