Hotel Domspatz - Cologne, Germany 

Situated beautifully!

I stayed in the Domspatz 14/12/2007 - 17/12/2007 and I was pleasantly surprised! From the reviews I had read I didn't expect much but I couldnt have been wrong. The rooms were spacious,warm and clean and the staff were friendly and they had an amazing breakfast set up every morning. The hotel was situated just right in the right place, just outside the markets so you could get peace and quiet, but 2 mins walk away from the Cathedral and Town Centre. The price of the rooms were very reasonable and kept to a high level of cleanliness for our stay, and the bathroom was spotless. I really enjoyed my stay here and it was close to the nicest restaurant in Cologne 'Maredos'! Please don't listen to these other reviews who have slated the Domspatz, it was really a very lovely place to stay and I would definatley stay there again.

Was the first hotel i've ever stayed in and it was good. I'd reccomend it to anyone. and i liked the brekfast.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The hotel staff is very unprofessional and rude. They weren't even able to give us valid directions to the hotel by car. I do not recommend staying here. I am a military officer and I stayed here with my girlfriend and her father who is a university professor. We all were upset with the way they conducted themselves and their poor attitude. Additionally, their advertised check out time was not what was posted on their website.
