- It totally looked like a Pedestrian Only area, so we drove around a few times and finally called the front desk. Because we are SPG members our room was upgraded to a beautiful large room with a balcony and the most astonishing view of the Cathedral and the square below, The Bells began to ring as we settled in, it was just amazing.. Posted: Dec 02, 2006 - morford - The location cannot be beat, the dom cathedral is just outside the front door. Check in was easy and the staff were very welcoming. Once checked in our we were shown to our room and the luggage taken there. Room was lovely a good size with king size bed, sitting area, desk, flat screen plasma tv 32 inch 3 phones. Bathroom was immaculate and the power shower very good. Room service was good value and very nice. Check out very good taxi arranged for pick up later in the day and luggage stowed until departure all of this without asking.. Read review

Our room faced a charming courtyard and had a huge walk-in closet (hard to find even in the best hotels and great for those of us who travel with six or seven pieces of luggage). We chose the Dom Hotel for it`s location and based on good Trip Advisor reports. On arrival we were warmly and efficiently received by the reception staff. We declined the offer of paying extra for a room upgrade but were then upgraded anyway to an Executive Suite at no extra cost. The Suite looked into......
