What Travellers Like
- We just wanted to have a dinner at Wasserturm and ofcourse, with no reservation as we just arrived in town. The front desk staff was very friendly and gave us the menu for the two restaurants of the hotel and informed us that "La Vision" was fully booked that very evening. We were abled to read the menu in the lobby while having a drink in the breath-taking design. The decoration was extremely original but makes you feel easy at once (you are seating in the hotel lobby while no other guest has direct view on you, at the same time, you know you are in an open space, it's simply wonderful! We finally decided to have dinner at the W restaurant which turned out to be a great experience : excellent service, food and wine.. Read review

Posted: Aug 11, 2005 - markus1 - Your average football fan does not spend loads of money on accommodation as he's already spent a fortune on getting to Germany in the first place. Infact the service was exemplary from the moment I walked in the door. Food was good, bar was pleasant, design was unusual yet attractive, rooms were well spec'ed and a good size. I do agree with previous reviewers that you should be able to control the room temp individually, that would be my only complaint.. Read review
Posted: Aug 17, 2006 - jaffam - Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, breakfast was excellent and we treated ourselves to dinner in La Vision the michelin star restauraunt , which was amazing both for the food and the views of the Dom. Dinner in the "W" was also good with some regional food included on the menu.. Read review
Posted: Jan 27, 2008 - Biljo - It is located in a quiet residential district only about five to 10 minutes walk from the main shopping areas. The hotel itself is within a historic water tower. I rented a duplex room (split over two floors). Everything was of a high standard, comfortable and very quiet; certainly a different type of room from conventional hotels. The service is impeccable and the cuisine very creative.. Read review
