I have mixed feelings about this place. After staying here many times, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. LOCATION- Nothing special! It's at the end of a street with really nothing around. There is one higher-end restaurant next door and a diner maybe 1/2 mile walk. You are pretty much stuck at the hotel. However, it is right on the water and there is a nice bike/jogging path that runs toward the airport. PROPERTY- Yes, this hotel was recently renovated. The lobby (esp. the front desk) is impressive and unique. It's sort of W-ish. The pool isn't so hot...only indoor on the 2nd floor. No outdoor patio area or anything. ROOMS- The rooms are definetly renovated and very, very nice. Very modern with flat-screen tvs, high-end bedding and a very nice desk. My bathroom had a drain that would not stay open. So most of the time I was standing in 2 feet of water. Annoying. Very, very, very nice Bliss toilitries that I really liked. SERVICE- They renovated the property, but not the staff! They aren't rude, just standard issue blah-ness. Their attitude doesn't match the beautifued property. No enthusiasm whatsoever. This place is fine, but I'd probably check out the Westin, Marriott, or Hyatt if you need an airport hotel. If you get a good deal and don't expect much in service, you'll be happy here.

The hotel was very accomodating. They allowed us to check in early. When we arrived, we weren't disapointed. The place is exactly what it looks like from the pictures they show on their website. The beds were a bit soft, but comfortable. And the remodeling seems to have been finished, bec. we didn't hear any noise, as I had read from other travelers. The pool was disapointing-- cold and dirty.. but that's ok. it made up for the jacuzi and their gym. The customer service is also excellent. Staff were warm and friendly. They really try to make your stay as comfortable. Loved the Flat screen TV and the HD on some of the channels were excellent. Bathroom was also spacious and very modern. We really enjoyed our stay.
