What Travellers Like
- They were able to accommodate an early-morning check-in for us, which we appreciated hugely. We did not fly out till the next evening, and they were also able to accommodate a late check-out. Spa service had an excellent masseur and very relaxing surroundings, good gym and pool. We loved our room, which had a separate sitting room. The hotel bar was a great spot to spend time for a nightcap, with pleasant piano music. Room service was prompt and efficient, as well as high quality food. The concierge provided excellent directions & map for a walk along the river to the historic area, a nice restaurant recommendation for dinner, and a wine festival in town that evening.. Read review

The breakfast buffet and dining was just wonderful. We had relaxed drinks in the courtyard with really great service. Overall, I've never experienced better service in any german luxury hotel, not even our favorite Mandarin Oriental in Munich! My friend had a massage at the Spa and kept raving about the incredible service.. Read review

Posted: Jan 19, 2008 - SReh - Staff was warm and courteous taking the time despite being busy to welcome me and accomodate my early 7AM arrival. Despite my room not being ready at that early hour, I was given access to the luxurious SPA. Heated bathroom floor, gorgeous over-sized bathroom, huge bed, great sound system, and even some kind of electric pants press. Breakfast buffet was a bit expensive @ 25 Euro, but huge selection of delicious food. Only complaint was the sheets on the bed. Pretty good location, about 15 minutes walk from the center of town just over the river. Try and get a room facing the inner court-yard.. Read review
