The telephone was broken, the internet access didn't work (after the phone was fixed I was able to log on with an international phone call to the U.S. for $60), the TV was broken, the air conditioning didn't work, there was no soap, the sink drain wouldn't open, the tub leaked, and the bed was short-sheeted. I checked out first thing this morning and they said I must pay for 2 nights at 255 euros per night. My reservation was for 225 euros. I haven't had such a bad experience in a hotel in ... I can't remember when."<br><br>The Marriott on Hamburger Allee is excellent.
