For a budget hotel, this was an excellent spot. The staff was extremely friendly. The location was great. In fact, we chose the hotel because it was across the street from the zoo, which our 2-year-old loved. The room was small, but tidy and clean.

we used Admiral Hotel for Ironman Frankfurt 08. It is a great hotel, extremely clean, with competent staff who did its best to support us for our IronMan, including preparing us breakfast at 4.10am on race day. they have space for bike bags and allow you to bring bike in the room. I would always go back there. the room are very small, but extremely tidy and functional and super confy mattresses. cesare

This hotel was very basic and no-frills. The rooms are spare, but clean and the bathrooms are great - big tub and shower with lots of pressure! I downgraded on cleanliness only because we checked in and upon arrival in our room, found it had not been cleaned; and housekeeping staff was gone. So, the man who greeted us rushed off to ready our room personally. If you want to be in the section of town near the zoo, you couldn't ask for a better location.
