Arrived here for a business trip in the dark as a solo female traveller. Fortunately I had checked out TA reviews first so wasn't completely shocked at the area but was still a little surprised that there was so much openly on display in the windows of the s*x shops! The staff all spoke really good English. The rooms were nice and clean and of a good size. There was no real restuarant or bar but the reception served drinks at a reasonable price and there was a breakfast room serving a full continental breakfast which was actually fairly good and included hot options too. Despite the surrouding area being very "interesting" I nev er felt unsafe and quite happily went out for a night time wander with some other female colleagues I met up with. There are some quite nice restaurants all within easy walking distance. It is also only a very short walk to the nearest train station and costs about 23 Euros for a taxi here from Fankfurt airport. All in all a very comfortable stay and incredible value for money!!

The hotel is within a couple of blocks of the Haufbanhof? (main) train station. Even though there is a "red light" district nearby, it didn't in any way affect our stay, In fact we walked to the old town by the river, and to the main shopping street from there. The room was large with a generous modern bathroom (shower). We requested a room in the back away from the street. The hotel is deceptively big as we walked a long way back. There was a nice lounge area with internet(not free) overlooking the lobby. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A special observation about the cleanliness of the room. I'm not so sure that the linen was cleaned from the previous visit. The room was previously visited by smoking people, the stinky odour still persisted in. The room we ocupied had an aditional, locked door (being probably an apartment), some noisy people living behind it.
