Grasmere Court Hotel - Bristol, United Kingdom 

Well i must say after booking 9 rooms for 19 people ages from 10 years to 53 years i was very worried when i read the 3 reviews on this hotel. But i was very surprised to find that it was clean, homely and a warm bed and breakfast. The rooms was warm, had tv, tea and coffee, and fluffy white towels Breakfast was served in a nice dinning room, plenty to choose from and very nice staff. Even when one of our party had forgotten her key as we rushed out to the wedding and got back at 1 o'clock in the morning, we had to phone the guy to come with the master key and open the room door. The wedding was at Chewton Place, not far from the hotel which is a bonus, also a nice high street to have a walk after breakfast. Bath is not far, lovely place and recommend afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms. Would i stay here again yes, we had a lovely weekend.

I recommended this hotel to people in my wedding party as an alternative venue to stay in. They were helpful enough to reserve rooms to get the business, however they were incapable of taking guests details and credit card numbers. A guest failed to turn up at the hotel and they had the ordacity to charge me (the bride!) the room rate. On confonting them the manger was rude, obnoxious and extremly unhelpful in the matter and blamed me! Would never recommend to anyone.
