Booked the hotel after reading glowing reviews on tripadvisor. Contacted the hotel directly and got a good deal - a discount (only for cash payment) with a bottle of wine thrown in, which was nice. Reached the hotel in the early afternoon and it was stuffy. I do not know if this is a problem with their air-conditioning or just a common practice in Italy where they do not use much air con, cos alot of the shops/cabs do not on their air cons despite the heat. I booked a superior room, which was supposed to be more roomy and comfy, but it was really tiny. Bathroom is also tiny but still decent. Air con cannot be adjusted and bathroom stinks abit. Room was abit noisy at nite cos of the resturants/bars nearby. Location is great to view the ancient sights. We took a walk after dinner nearby and saw the Coloseum at nite, which was awesome. There's a roman bath ruins nearby too. Metro just right infront, Cavour station. Overall, decent for a night sleep, if you are not looking into something fancy. Staff is friendly and helpful but the chambermaid can be abit too familiar...she opened the door with just one knock, without waiting for a response.

Really great little hotel. In quiet street, very central and 10 mins walk from Termini station or 50yds from underground stop. Nice cafes very close that are very reasonably priced plus great icecream bar within 3 mins walk!! Rooms clean and breakfast very fresh and hot. Food constantly refreshed. Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended to all travellers.
