Before you decide to stay overnight in Boppard, consider that most tourists that frequent the city are Senior Citizens. It's a very quiet and quaint city. Do yourself a favor and stay 30 miles up the Rhein in Koblenz. Hotel Rheinlust is beautifully situated on the promenade, just feet away from the Rhein River. Here are some things to consider: The hotel is at the Northern most end of the attractions, meaning your walk is that much longer. I enjoy walking while in Europe, but when catching Trains it was not convenient. The staff are friendly but proud. I would suggest staying a few blocks down the strip. However, if you don't have a choice, Hotel Rheinlust won't necessarily disappoint. The point is, there are more convenient lodging options in Boppard or neighboring cities.
