Hotel Eden Am Hofgarten - Bonn, Germany     

Sehr gutes Hotel mitten im Zentrum. Fahren Sie mit dem Flughafenbus Linie 670 (3 pro Stunde von montags bis freitags, 2 pro Stunde samstags und 1 pro Stunde sonntags) zum Hauptbahnhof, was ca. 20 Minuten dauert. Kosten für den Bus: Man muss sich einen Fahrschein für den Automaten an der Bushaltestelle kaufen (6,20 Euro oder 2,10 Euro pro Person). Wir waren uns nicht sicher, was wir brauchten, und bezahlten deshalb direkt beim Fahrer, der uns 6,20 Euro berechnete. Auf dem Weg zurück zum Flughafen kauften wir einen Fahrschein für 2,10 Euro für den Automaten, und niemand sagte etwas. Von der Bushaltestelle zum Hotel sind es ca. 5 Gehminuten. Gehen Sie ein Stück den Weg zurück, den der Bus gekommen ist, in Richtung Deutsche Bank, gehen Sie über die Straße und immer geradeaus, biegen Sie in die erste Straße rechts ein und folgen Sie der Straße. Zu Ihrer Linken werden Sie am Ende der Straße eine Kirche sehen (und vor Ihnen sollte ein großes Feld sein), biegen Sie rechts ab, und dort ist das Hotel ein Stückchen die Straße hinunter. Das Hotel liegt in einer kleinen Straße ohne viel Verkehr und hat 30 Zimmer. Bitten Sie um ein Zimmer nach hinten hinaus, weil man dort einen Balkon bekommt. Unser Zimmer war groß mit großem Fenster und Balkontür. Das Bad war klein und hatte keine Wanne. Im Bad ist Föhn. Sehr sauberes Hotel mit sehr hilfsbereitem Personal. Frühstück: Frühstück wird bis 9.30 Uhr in einem recht großen Frühstücksraum serviert (also, ich sage mal 9.30 Uhr, denn so wurde es uns beim Einchecken erklärt). Am 2. Tag gingen wir aber erst um 9.30 Uhr runter, und es kamen noch Gäste nach uns. Das Angebot war immer gut: 3 verschiedene Cerealien, warme Brötchen, Marmeladen, Schokoladenaufstrich, Honig etc. Das einzige, was sie nicht hatten, waren Kuchen und süßes Gebäck. Kostenloser Internetanschluss und Safe-Boxen an der Rezeption. Einchecken findet um 12 Uhr statt. Auschecken um 11 Uhr.

Great hotel right in the center. Get the airport bus 670 (3 an hour Monday - Friday, 2 an hour on Saturday and 1 an hour onSunday) to the central station, it takes about 20 minutes. The cost of the bus---- You have to buy a ticket for the machine next to the bus stop (6.20 Euro or 2.10 Euro per person), we were not sure which one to get so we bought ticket from the driver, who charged 6.20 Euro. On the way back to the Airport we bought a 2.10 Euro ticket for the machine which no one questioned. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from where the bus drops you off--- Walk back the way the bus came towards the Deutsch Bank, cross the road and go straight ahead, take the first right, follow the road you will see a Church on your left at the end (there should be a big field in front of you ) turn right, The hotel is just a little way down the road. The hotel is on a small road, which is not busy and has 30 rooms. Ask for a room at the back as they have balcony's. Our room was big with a big window and a door on to the balcony. The bathroom was small and did not have a bath. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. Very clean hotel with very helpfull staff. Breakfast----Breakfast is served until 9.30am in a good size breakfast room ( well I say until 9.30am, that is what we got told when we checked in), on the 2nd day we did not go until 9.30 and there were people who came in after us. There was always a good selection---- 3 different cereal, yogurt, fruit,hams, 8 different types of cheese, pate, hot bread rolls, jams, chocolate spread, honey etc. The only thing they did not have was cakes and sweet pasty. Free internet and safe boxes in the reception. Check in is at 12.00. Check out is at 11.00am.
