Prinsotel Alba - Cala D'Or, Spain     

Arrived late at night and were put in a ground floor room, we asked if we could change, this was done with no hesitation. the staff could not have been more friendly if they had tried, we were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. we have 2 children, 10 & 13, they didn?t want to go out on any day trips as they loved the entertainment and games the hotel had to offer all day every day. all the entertainment was included in the cost of our holiday, nothing extra to pay to take part! they even got certificates for the games they won and a kids club tee shirt when we left. all the staff made sure they sadi goodbye to us all. all in all this was the most fantastic holiday we have ever had, and were not just saying that, it truly was!!! and the kids want to come back which is always a bonus!!!! one last thing, the hotel was spotless!!

Been back from the Alba for a few days now and wishing we were still there. Enjoyed two weeks at the Alba with my wife and two teenage children. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and immaculate in every way. We went half board which allowed us to eat in the hotel resteraunt, the menu was varied with a hot and cold buffet. Also there was a large choice of desserts! Fresh fruit is laid out each night for desserts aswell. During the day around the pool are activities for children, teenagers and adults, such as waterpolo, water volley, water gym, table tennis, archery, pistol shooting and rifle shooting. The activities are run by the entertainment staff who were brilliant. Could not fault them in a single way, they were always smiling and all spoke english despite being from different nationalities. The evenings are just as good with the children's mini club dances followed by some form of entertainment, sometimes hired proffesionals performed as well as the entertainment staff. Overall i would rate this the best holiday we have had, the cala d'or area itself was so picturesque and the town had countless eating places suitable for everyone. The actual apartments are spacious and suitable for families/groups of four. There is a sufficient kitchen with a kettle and toaster and a balcony with spectacular views. The maid service is good, they always smiled and spoke, they cleaned every day apart from sunday and changed linen once a week. We are definately considering returning to Prinsotel Alba next year. The only thing bad to say would be getting a sun bed. But then anywhere you go would have the same problem at this time of the year.
