Hotel Antunovic Zagreb - Zagreb, Croatia     

This hotel has the worst service I have EVER experienced, unfriendly, unorganized, arrogant and stupid. Maybe we were just unlucky but I really could not believe what happend to us. Starting from the reception desk, the restaurant, the cafe. Where can you find such stafff? Don?t they have any training? When we arrived they just ignored us, looked at us and they run away (after somebody from the staff, don?t know why). Check out: the bill was wrong, do not know what they charged us, maybe another room and at the end he kept my mastercard! Thanks god I recongnized. By the way, a lady next to us at the reception desk was almost crying because of some mistakes they made and she missed her plain. Restaurant experience: Had to ask 3 times for the menu, did not get it and finally took it. Had to ask 3 time if we can order something, asked if something is availaible, they said yes and after a long long time when they brought the first course only for me and not for my partner the waiter said, no not SORRY, just oh, this was not available. He did not ask if he wants something else. And to make things worse, for the second course we ordered two times the same and it was brought only ONCE! Breakfast: Table was not cleaned, had to ask for cutlery and after 10 min asked the man at the table next to me. No excuse, nothing! Asked very friendly, is it maybe possible to get an espresso? What? The girl looked at me like I was an alien with a facial expression "what the hell are you asking for". Ok, I could go on and on, this stay left me feeling like I was on a different planet. It is such a shame because the hotel itself is really beautiful, the rooms are great, the location is great for a business trip, the breakfast (although only plain coffee) excellent. But please, fire the responsible person for the staff!!

I agree with other reviewers that this is a very nice hotel -- a great value for the money. However, we only had a weekend in Zagreb, and I felt that the hotel was a bit too far outside of the old town center. There is a nearby train, but it took us about 45 minutes. Too much time wasted!
