Hotel Artim Charlottenburg - Berlin, Germany     

My husband and I have just returned after a four day break in Berlin and we were very impressed with this hotel,it is a basic 3 star hotel but it is so convenient to everything and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.It's only 100m across the road from an S-Bahn and 5 minutes walk from Wilmersdorfer Str, a shoppers paradise,likewise to Kurfurstendamm.We read on some reviews about the sleazy clubs nearby but to be honest there was never a problem with them,there were equally as many nice bars and restaurants in the vicinity.The breakfast was very good i.e. juices,cereals,cold meats,cheese,tomatoes,cucumber and a hot breki if desired,bacon,pudding,scrambled egg and boiled egg,toast and rolls, tea and coffee.The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean with fresh towels every day.We will definately be returning to Berlin as we loved the city and will stay at this hotel again without hesitation. Nice and tidy room near S-train station Charlottenburg. Breakfast is ok. No restaurant or bar in the hotel. The bus nr 109 from Tegel-airport stops right outside the hotel. Costs 2,1 Euro. Taxi about 13 Euro The personel was uninterested but did their job. Interesting neighbourhood with two sexclubs and a sleasy pub in the same block. If you need a "ladyfriend" its nextdoor.
