Read some of the reviews for this hotel and was a little worried that we had booked the wrong thing - How wrong could I be! We went for a weekend city break to banish our January blues, and this trip definately did the trick! The hotel was basic, but it was very clean, the beds were really comfy, the staff were friendly and helpfull, and the breakfast was good too! Exactely what you want for a city break - I would definately go back!

I just got back from a three night stay at the Agon Franke, pretty good. The room was clean, mine was a single room but the size was good. The room has a tv, phone (no tea/coffee making facilities). The bathroom was clean and towels provided. But sadly no bath, just a shower. Another reviewer mentioned carpets and the poor state of repair they were in. Well I'm pleased to say it looks like the hotel has been completely recarpeted. Even the stairs, brand new carpets! The location of the hotel is very good, approximately five minutes walk to Adenauer Platz Ubahn - tip to get a travel pass like the citytourpass (14.90 euros for two days). On balance excellent value for money, basic accommodation but clean.
