Great hotel in excellent location in heart of Konstanz. Arrived by car. Difficult to stop to unload. Parking in public indoor car park next door (if you stay longer exchange regular ticket for congess ticket witch is only 9 euros instead of 12 a day). Pedestrian zone and Lake front in walking distance. Gorgeous lobby/staircase. Room ok, clean, bit small. Very friendly staff, especially at reception. On arriving there was only one receptionist, she had to deal with a group of American travellers and still had time to deal with me. Felt sorry for her as she seemed overloaded with work. Coped brillintly though I think (hope she reads this). Overall nice place in great location, overpriced though.

This hotel is fantastic! It was so lovely I had a hard time pulling myself away to do the tourist activities the staff recommended. The breakfast buffet is ample with lots of delicious foods and staff that, after a week's stay, had the coffee ready for me as I came through the door. I highly recommend this clean, safe, and lovely hotel.
