We went to Jagdhaus Wiese after a terrible experience with an other hotel. Staff at reception was very nice and we were shown 3 rooms to choose from. We took a double room with bath and balcony. The rooms are of good size, clean and have a small couch in it. The bathroom is spacious and of good quality. The beds are good. The room looks a bit old fashioned, but this is the style of most German hotels. More important that everything is clean. The hotel has very good facilities: an indoor swimmingpool with a very nice view on the woods, massage facilities, sauna, free use of mountainbikes and hikingmaps. There are 2 restaurants and in one of them you can eat smokefree. The quality of food is excellent! Breakfast, lunch and diner where just fine! We choose diner from the a la cartemenu. The restaurant has very nice wines as well. Staff is very nice and attentive. The hotel is a bit far away from any town and has rather a lot of older guests, but this is in no way a problem for a nice stay here. We really likes this hotel an can reccommend it for sure.
