Domus Maris - Albufeira, Portugal     

Situated very close to a beautiful coastline, this is unfortunately a very bad place to stay. The first room we were given was overlooking a building site and smelt of urine. We asked for another room and were given a similar room with a better view but still very smelly, and dirty. As we were using the room just to sleep we stayed but this is a very bad hotel. Avoid if you want to stay in a clean place.

Very close to the beach and a plethora of very reasonably priced restaurants. The hotel is just a bit tired really and in need of a radical uplift next closed season. Rooms could do with redecoration. A lot of the original hotel amenities no longer in use. What you get though is a clean apartment well serviced at a very low price so should no be dismissed. There are however many other better maintained hotels and apartment options in both the area and the lovely little town itself.
