Forced to stay here several times in the past as rooms difficult to find weekdays in Aberdeen. This 1970s mausoleum has now graduated from passively mediocre to actively offensive. Treated like a criminal on latest visit as I had the temerity to produce a gold debit card to guarantee meals charged to room. Make sure you get receipts for everything or, better still, body-swerve this place if at all possible.

We checked into this hotel last minute and found it was overpriced for what you got, and was cheaper if you booked before hand. The room was ok, but no better than a travelodge or something like that which would have been cheaper and probably in a better location. It didnt seem to have much surrounding the hotel, and i think a taxi from the Aberdeen exhibition and confrence centre cost us around ?20. The only problem i had was the hotel smelt really bad when we were there, even the receptionist commented on this as i checked out. All in all the hotel was ok, but not worth the money for the quality or location.
