Okay, didn't actually stay at the Fife Lodge so no comment on the rooms but we did have an evening meal there and it was terrific. The staff were very friendly, the prices were good (drinks were typical hotel prices, eg. high!) the ambience was great and the food was really, really good. Special mention for the haggis on brioche with whisky mustard sauce (that noise that Homer Simpson makes when he thinks about doughnuts!).

We just stayed the one night at the Fife Lodge. On the road out of town but well signposted. Very friendly staff, large room but bit tired in places. Lovely dinner (bit pricey) and great breakfast.
