Scott House - Rome, Italy 

This hotel is very close to the train station, is at 5 to 7 minutes walking down the street. It is located in the same building of some other hotels. Is in the " fourth" floor although I think is the fifth hotel. They have a small elevator so you don't have to carry the luggage all the way up. We arrived around 1 pm and the room was ready, so we were able to leave our luggage and start to walk through Rome. You have to ask to turn the air conditioner on and they turn it off when they want, something that I didn't like. If you want to sleep you NEED the air conditioner since Rome is very busy and loud and you need to keep your window shut. We didn't like the breakfast which consists of: croissant, chocolate spread, bread, butter, coffee and orange juice (it tastes bad). The bathroom was a little small but at least we had a shower in our room. The last night and the day we were suppose to leave we showered with COLD water since the water heater broke, they didn't notify about the failure until we asked.

They rent to groups of Teens from Europe that run up and down the halls/stairs. You will never sleep past 630 am due to the noise. The single rooms are smaller than my walk in closet. It was shown as a Hotel in Spartacus guide but the Hotel does not allow guests from outside or even other Hotel guests to visit anyones room. I cannot recommend this to anyone except for the basic bed and not a good bed at that.
