Aureus Clavis details:
The small, romantic hotel Aureus Clavis in Prague, housed in a characteristic Gothic building, is located on one of the most famous streets near Mala Strana, declared World Heritage Site by the Unesco. Most of the major tourist attractions, such as the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square and the old Josefov Jewish quarter, are all within walking distance. The underground station, tram and bus stops as well as shopping areas and exhibition centres are all close at hand. The hotel's newly refurbished rooms, spread over three floors and an attic, are cosy and comfortable, and represent a perfect blend of classic with contemporary and stylish designs. Apart from a stylish lounge bar and a fine restaurant, guests are offered attentive service and a friendly atmosphere. Front desk hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

We stayed in a standard room for three nights. The location was excellent - right near the Castle, a few minutes walking distance from Charles Bridge, convenient to trams and the Metro, yet away from the crazy tourist bustle of the Old Town. Lots of nearby restaurants (including, around the corner, a FANTASTIC place with a beer garden and delicious, cheap, traditional food and beer, on J?nsk? vr?ek). Breakfast was included, with bread, meats, cheese, yogurt, cereal, fruit, coffee and juice - the same every day, but we thought it was a great selection and as good if not better than what we found at most similar hotels throughout Europe. It's a little hard to find the reception desk - walk through the restaurant out front and go through the door on the right. If you're looking for a soul-less, American style chain hotel, you may not love this place as much as we did (though I bet you'll still enjoy it), but if you want to feel like you are really a part of Prague in in a place with style and comfort, this is a great choice!
