We stayed for 2 nights at Il Barocco. Downstairs room was dark and ugly. With heavy carved furniture and airless. Our room also stank of cheap disinfectant. We had made it clear by phone and email that we had a dog and we booked dinner. It turns out that the Ristorante Il Barocco is actually a seperate business, a little way away, and they do not permit dogs to enter their restaurant under any circumstances. We could have relocated, particularly as the hotel was noisy too, but we will never return. There is a meanness of spirit to Il Barocco, both hotel and restaurant.
