I stayed at the Oranien for four nights. It's old world charm is inviting and the rooms were tastefully appointed, Not all the rooms have an AC and AC is a must in the summer, the first two nights i stayed in a room without an AC I asked the stuff if they can find me another room with an AC and in the third night i moved to a one, they did the best because the hotel was full the all city was full because of the"MESSE". The staff was polite and friendly, they even send me a basket full with fruits as a gesture because thay didn't find me a room with AC in the secound night. There is parking available in the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near the "Fussganger" (Pedestrian shopping) Zone and there are myriad restaurants, shops, and pubs with walking distance. The Hotel Oranien made my stay pleasant. I recommend it highly, and will stay their again next year.
