Brauereigasthof-Hotel Aying - Aying, Germany 

The combination of a family owned brewery, restaurant, and hotel is unique, but I find this the perfect base for a visit to Munich as it is only half an hour by train right into the heart of the historic district. Each room is individually decorated in traditional Bavarian style with state-of-the-art bathrooms or shower rooms. The fitness room is also state-of-the-art with a wonderful sauna. The restaurant is superb, the staff extremely helpful, and the village very peaceful and relaxing. In nice weather there is nothing better than to have breakfast or lunch in the lovely garden. Overall, this property has the feel of understated luxury and old world charm.

I stayed several times during some commercial fairs in Aying, and it's lovely. It's completely outside Munich, so you're more in the country-part of the munich area. It's about 30-45 minutes driving to the city centre. And there is nearly no infrastructure around. So - it's quite relaxing there. The rooms are typical bavarian-styled and nicely decorated. Food is outstanding, they also have a own brewery there. If you want to experience the typical "bavarian style", go there. it's nice.
