The Lodge - Borovets, Bulgaria 

just returned from our first visit to borovets and i must say that the Lodge is a brilliant hotel . i was sceptical about visiting bulgaria for a ski holiday but was more than impressed with the standards the lodge offered. from the moment we arrived the friendly staff made us feel at home, always a smile and nothing to much trouble. the room was spacious , clean and comfortable , the maid service was a delight as everyday we returned from the slopes we were greeted with a new towel animal . the facilities were better than i had experienced in some 4 seasons hotels , the pool , steam and jacuzzi were fantastic after a days skiing. the attentive waiters and waiters were always smiling and the food was of a good standard , fresh and a varied menu . i would choose to return to the lodge compared to other dated hotels in borovets and would also look at others in the lodge collection . thanks to everyone who made our holiday
