Maeva Les Portes de l'Oisans details: The residence consists of 3 small, recently-built, south-facing chalet buildings, located close to the village centre and a shopping arcade with restaurants, 50 km away from Grenoble. It enjoys spectacular views of La Fare waterfalls.

The quiet and sunny residence lies 400m away from the ski-lifts, surrounded by a protected nature, in the heart of the Oisans Massif. You will enjoy a breathtaking view, facing the Grandes Rousses ski area. Vaujany offers everything you are looking for : the charm and authentic appeal of a true village, the ultimate equipment for skiing, skating, hiking on foot or on snow-shoes.

Many services are offered on-site (fee required).

The residence is made up of 3 buildings with 5 floors. Some apartments have facilities for the disabled.

Guests can choose the "Comfort +" formula that must be purchased on line before the arrival. It includes:
Beds made up for arrival.
Two sets of bathroom linen per person left in the apartment.
End of stay cleaning (except kitchen area and washing-up).

We are a family of six so we booked a 4 bed and a 6 bed apartment. The 4 bed was tiny and consisted of a bunk bed and two pull out beds in the living room . The kitchen was for midgets and had to be entered sideways. The 6 bed was fine- consisting of a double bed, a triple upstairs (with a separate bathroombut no Toilet!) and two pull out beds in the living room. The kitchen was the same size as the 4 bed apartment. Big advantage was that there was a bath in both flats and they are close to the shopping centre and the moving lifts - escallators which move you around from the bottom of the village to the top. The skiing was excellent with the big cable car moving you quickly to the Alpe d'Huez area. No waiting either. Resaurants good but expensive. Night life limited. Pub called the Swallow makes a lot of noise at 2am when it empties and can be heard from the Apartments. Overall, you get "what it says on the tin"
