Hotel Josef - Prague, Czech Republic

It was our second time to stay in Hotel Josef this year - both myself and my girlfriend love Prague. We got the hotel car to pick us up and bring us to the hotel - takes about 20 minutes and costs about €32. Upon arrival to the room, there were champagne chocolates with a letter welcoming us back to the hotel - a very nice touch. The breakfast buffet is super, a huge selection to cater for everyones taste. The rooms are great, very funky. We stayed in the pink house and found it very comfortable. Close to a lot of restaurants, including Lary Fary, Arzenal and many many small bistro's and Italians. Overall, I would totally recommend this hotel. A bit pricey maybe, but they do go above and beyond their call of duty. The staff are always polite and go out of their way to help you. 5/5.

Didn't know we needed it until we found it

My wife and I did an overnight stay in Prague at the tail end of a week in Vienna. We ran the Vienna marathon the weekend before and by the time we got to Prague were pretty exhausted, although still determined to see the historic old city. Although the room was small, it was clean and well apportioned, which is something we needed after staying at a budget hotel in old Vienna all week. It also had a fancy rig to control room shading from the outside which was great to take a nap at in the afternoon after the train ride from Vienna. Breakfast in the hotel was great but I can no longer remember if we paid for it separately or if it was included in our accommodation. We did use their concierge to book a day tour and their taxi service to get back to Prague's main train station. Last but not least, although it wasn't at the center of Old Prague, it was close enough that once we got our bearings we could navigate easily to just about anything we wanted to see. We'd definitely stay there again.

Perfect Hotel for a perfect citytrip

Lots of good things are already said about this hotel and they are all true. Good location, nice rooms, great showers, clean and friendly. Great breakfast. I will add the little things that made it even more perfect to me : 1) arriving at 11 am we were pleasantly surprised to find our rooms already ready upon arrival without even askinf for it 2) leaving at 2 pm we were granted the room to keep for free till 2 pm even if checkout time is noon 3) the young and very friendly staff, every single person we met was friendly and polite Really a superb experience ! Congratulations to all of you there in St Josef.
