We stayed at this hotel at Easter 2007. And it was wonderful, a great base for the Disney experience. However We did feel a little isolated as it was away from the whole international drive experience. The actual hotel itself was excellent. However food was a little pricey. The facilities and accomodation were great.Plenty of room in a one bed suite for 2 adults and 2 children aged 13 and 8. The free shuttle bus was perfect for getting to the theme parks everyday and saved alot on taxis as we didnt want the expense and hassle of hiring a car, then driving everywhere paying for parking and then not being able to have a drink with dinner. Hey isn;t that why were went on holiday to get away from all that. However the location of this hotel I feel you would would need to have a car at your disposal. Overall wonderful hotel would have no hesitation in recommending it. The tv channel on disney info in the suite was excellent to give you a head start on all you need to know.

After reading some of the reviews for this place I was a bit worried staying here. I traveled for a conference and let me tell you this place was great! Upon checking in, we had the room with the two queens and the extra living room area with the pull out sofa bed. My wife and kids joined me on this trip and we all were able to live comfortably here for the week long trip. The convention center is within close range of any of the towers you stay at. The pool area rocks. My kids enjoyed the kiddie pool area but was only enjoyable by 2 and under kids. The pool has a waterfall and a nice slide that everyone got to enjoy, including yours truly. There are not too many choices to eat at for the walkers and no-car folks. The hotel has some restaurants but just like all others, food is mediocre and the price is high, but they are there for those that are stuck at the hotel and don't want to leave. Across the street you have a Chinese restaurant (which no one recommended I go) and a Pizza place that is not bad. When I travel to Orlando, I prefer NYPD Pizza, but being late and just coming in I settled for the pizza place across the street. The only real issue I had with this place was that they offer a laundry room for our use but no one has quarters to use on the machines. I had to go to the front desk and get change and wait for the 'coin-collector' to return so that I could at least get a roll of quarters for myself. If you have a car, there is plenty to go and see within close range. You have Kissimmee on one side and the Disney World Empire on the other. SeaWorld is not far away from here and the only far one is Universal Studios, but with a car that's not a problem to get to. The front desk was somewhat helpful in obaining change for me, one guy was very rude and just didn't want to deal with my problem and told me to come back after 11p when the new shift staff came in. The new folks that came in were awesome, made up for the one rude manager that was there before 11p.
