The Kent Hotel fits perfectly into its surroundings. We incorporated many of the stylish elements of Miami Beach into our own property. Our lobby is alive with bright colors, geometrically-shaped furniture, unusual toys, and a large, whimsical projection clock.

As travelers walk down Ocean Drive, it may occur to them that the street serves as a division between two different worlds – on one side, the sea and beach beckon passersby to a leisurely day in the surf and sun; on the other, a long strip of bars, shops, galleries, and restaurants entice vacationers to spend the day browsing the latest in fashion, art, and gourmet dining. Whichever you choose, you’ll no doubt be struck by the stunning architecture that surrounds you. Many of the buildings are prime examples of pre-WWII modernism, and are characterized by simple geometrical themes, decorative ornamentation, streamlined textures, and bright pastel colors. Art Deco was a movement that used uniquely designed buildings to hint at other art forms popular at the time, such as jazz and swing music. The overall effect is “chic” and distinct from anything you’ve seen before.

This colorful nice hotel is just behind Versace mansion in miami beach. The structure is simple, but clean and accurately furnished. Rooms are painted in pastel colours and include a big screen, fridge and air conditioning. Clean and extremely well located you can get anywhere you want from here. Amenities include towels for the beach, an internet point, a superb lounge and luggage storage. The greatest place to stay in Miami at an affordable price.

After a Caribbean cruise, I wanted to stay in South Beach so I tried the Kent Hotel. This hotel I must say I am very pleased with. I paid $89.00 for Thursday night and $129.00 for Friday night. ( Very good prices) The day and night time front desk staff were very nice and efficient. The hotel room was nice and clean with many amenities flat screen TV with DVD, safe, good bathroom amenities, and a mini refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I was in room 107 in the back of the hotel. The lobby has a sitting area and a brochure rack with Florida points of interest. There is no restaurant or bar in this hotel so you will be able to get a good nights sleep " No lobby noise" The hotel is in a great location one street over from Ocean Drive and the beach is just steps from Ocean so you cant go wrong. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to Lincoln Road. Great job to the staff of The Kent !!! I will return.
