Our recent stay in Venice, before a cruise, started with 2 great days at the Hotel Panorama. It is very easily accessible by vaporettos, which stop 100 feet from the hotel entrance. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the small side, but we had a nice view of the lagoon. We had a nice complimentary breakfast buffet every morning, which included juices, coffee, tea, pastries, fruit, breads, yogurts and more. They recommended a few dining options and each turned out wonderful. Unless you have a real need to be on the island of Venice, save the money you would have used for more expensive hotels and use it on tours or dinners. It was well worth the 10 miunute vaporetto ride to us. Thanks to the great staff.

Our second stay at Hotel Panorama (2 years between stays) and this place is just as special as our first visit. Even the staff remembered us from our previous vacation.- Excellent!!!
