Hotel Cabana - Benidorm, Spain     

Just got back from this Hotel on Sunday 23/03/08. I know us "British" can be typically snobs when it comes to wanting the best, but I can only say of my experience personally. I stayed for a week with my elderly mum, the Hotel was just in the right spot for me i.e. to relax with no hustle and bustle etc. Comment No 1. Food terrible, no taste, was very bland, unless you liked fish everyday. Comment No 2. Chamber Maid service was very basic, by that I mean, she only emptied the bathroom bins, we were left sheets one day in our room thinking that she would be changing them the next day, but ended up changing them ourselves. Comment No 3. The Hotel itself is beautifully decorated and staff could be quite friendly but were'nt very forthcoming with english but at least they tried. My personal thought was that it was more for the Spanish than the other Countires including Britain. Comment No 4. Entertainment was provided every evening but unfortunally it was more aimed at the Spanish. Comment No4. The lifts would only hold approx 4 people of average weight. Comment No 5. Surely ALL INCLUSIVE means ALL INCLUSIVE, at this hotel they have strange times for serving Comment No6. If you have children dont go here, there is nothing for them to do except swim in the pool. Apart from the above which are only my comments, I did enjoy the break as it was much needed, but wont be going to the Cabana Hotel again, unless things changed especially the food From Julie, Hull
