Not a hotel I would recommend. We got a terrific deal on 1/2 board but the food was terrible. Breakfast was fine but dinner was awful. The staff were lovely but just not enough of them. The waiter/bar person/chef/ told us that staff shortages were common in the village because people had to travel up from Nerja and the wages were not good. The pool was freezing due to being in the shade all day. The balcony views were superb though the building works are still ongoing. The village is gorgeous but again the food left a lot to be desired. The 3 resturants we went to (after 2 nights in the hotel) were all pretty poor. No tapas to be seen and no real spanish food. On the plus side the Rioja in them all was delicious. By the way - the Hotel did not serve it???

We stayed at this hotel for a week and would recommend it. We had no problems with noise, either from the road or neighbouring rooms. Breakfast was of a good standard with lots of choice. The staff were friendly and courteous at all times. Excellent restaurantes in the village serving a wide veriety of dishes. Would definitely go back.
