Perla details: The Perla is a newly built design hotel in Prague, located in the very heart of the city centre, just a few steps from the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. Location

The hotel is located at the very heart of the city centre, only 5 minutes walking distance away from The Old Town Square where you can watch the Astronomical Clock.

Also withing a 3 minutes walk you will find Wenceslas Square. The National Theatre ( from where you can already see the beautiful Charles bridge ) is only a ten minutes walk from the hotel away.

Walking across the river you will reach green park with the rose garden and the Observatory at Petrin hill, where you have the most beautiful view over Prague and all bridges. If you do not like climbing up the hill you can also take the tram number 22 or 23. The tram stops are within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. If you are more adventurous you can also take the funicular up to the hill.

If you like jogging you can also take advantage of the area around "Petrin" or on "Zofin island" by the National theatre.

The Prague Castle is reachable by foot within 30 minutes but it might be better to take the tram number 22 or 23 which will tkae you to the very top and save you time as well. On the way back down you can stop at one of the many nice little shops and restaurants.

Hotel really good value for money, buffet breakfast excellent plenty of choices hot and cold. Staff were extremely helpful and organised taxi pick up to and from airport. Position could not be better as 5 mins to Wencelas Square, 5 mins to Old Town and max 10 mins steady walk to Charles bridge. As it was my birthday whilst we were there we had champagne and fruit in the room when we arrived all complimentary plus robes and slippers!! Bedrooms and bathrooms not large but all mod cons including flat screen tv and the beds are so comfortable.

Fantastic hotel and ideally located for all the sighseeing. The staff at the Hotel Perla are very professional, courteous and helpful. The rooms were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Keep your windows closed at night as there does seem to be a little noise from the streets below. The breakfasts choices were excellent ranging from cereals, juices, hot food, cakes, breads and a good range of fruits and yogurts. I would definently go back here if I was ever in Prague again.
