Residence Agnes - Prague, Czech Republic     

Great little hotel. Although it's in a quiet little street it's still within a five minute walk of the old town center. Very clean, very quiet rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Best hotel I've stayed in for a long time. This is the first and only review I have ever written and I have done it just because I was so impressed. Nuff said.

We have just returned from a week in Prague and stayed at the Hotel Agnes. It was excellent value for money booked through Otel.com.The hotel is newly refurbished. Comfortable beds, changed mid week and a lovely bathroom with clean towels every day. Excellent heating or air con if it was the Summer Adequate breakfast with all of the usual meats and cheeses plus cereals , fresh fruit rolls etc and a toaster that actually worked. Coffee from a machine which was okay and a good selection of teas. There was hot and cold milk.The hotel was about a 6 minute walk from Old Town Square.I booked the taxi with --- and they were excellent. Waiting at the airport , and we were an hour late,Took us to the door and were there 10 minutes early to take us back to the airport. We were given a voucher for a free walking tour of the city which reduced the price of the taxi.Prague is an expensive city so when looking for a meal at night walk away from the squares to the side streets and you will pay a fraction of the price for a lot better food.
