Four star it may be but?

In June 2008 we stayed there for a week and although we found the hotel conveniently located, we were left a little upset with the service, or lack of it. The reception staff never offered a good morning or a smile, in fact they just avoided eye contact altogether. Our room had no drawers, so we couldn't unpack, very few electric sockets, and a shower with no shelving for soap or shampoo. Although they agreed to provide us with a room change (on check-in and again the following morning) they never got round to it. The hot breakfast selection was never hot and was always very limited for choice and the bar, if you like drinking alone, then this is the place for you.

The breakfast included al lot of sweet cakes and fruits. I missed som more to put on the bread. What about some more tastefull meat and cheese?

We stayed in Prague for 3 nights and had a really good time. The hotel is just off of Wenceslas Square, so it's a great location. The hotel was good value, however if had paid full price of 250 euros a night I would not have been happy, we paid 63 euros per night. The staff were helpful and the hotel was very clean. The rooms were very hot - better than being cold but a bit too hot while sleeping. Breakfast was good but the breakfast room was not as big as I was expecting for a large four star hotel. We did have to wait to find a clear table one morning. But it was great that check out was 12noon and breakfast served until 11am!!!! All in all a good hotel and great city.

Overall it was a very good choice. The price through Venere.com was excellent (60Euros per night) wile in the hotel's site was 200 Euros!!! Good location, very near to Metro station and Tram. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast! The service was OK bust as every Central-European, not smiling too much! Prefer to pay in cash and in Euros! Currencies change every hour!
