The 21st century style meets the 16th! Very welcoming, very stylish and very comfortable.

Excellent hotel with a unique decoration style and exceptionally comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful in a professional way, giving me tips about the city that I could not have found elsewhere. The furniture looks fresh and new. Cleanliness is an absolute given. DVD player and fingerprint operated safelock were nice things to have in the room. Never caring too much about food myself, breakfasts were fine and well-served. One thing that did not fit this perfection though: Sound isolation of the walls... So poor that you could even hear the guy snoring in the other room! Could be different in other rooms as this one gave the impression that they were once this one big room which was then quickly divided into two. I was lucky I didn't have noisy neighbors or was too tired when I came back to the hotel to care about it anyway... Overall: I would love to stay there again if I go back to the beautiful city of Prague some day (and I have a feeling that I will...)

Great small hotel. Staff were fantastic! The staff were better than any other hotel I have stayed. I have been traveling for work and pleasure for the past 30 years and the staff at the Icon were the best I have had experience with in that time. I would stay here any time I visited Prague.

The hotel is in an area slightly off the buzz of the city but very easily accessible. It's within walking distance to many attractions and to a major bus station where you can get on buses that take you across the river to the Prague Castle, for example. I felt fairly safe walking around the neighborhood even late at night alone. Having said that, there aren't many good and reasonably priced restaurants in the area. The restaurant in the hotel is a good choice though but it's not Czech food. It appeared to be a popular hang-out place for locals or local foreigners. Quite hip. The room I had was very nice. It's spacious, modern and cozy. As I wanted a no brainer holiday, I booked a taxi through the hotel to pick me up from the airport. It was 27.6 Euros including VAT and you can put that on your hotel bill. It's reasonable as I'd checked the cost of airport transfer other hotels offered. The taxi actually turned out to be a very nice car and the driver was very professional. I ended up booking the same to take me to the airport when I left.

Just returned from a 3 night weekend stay in Prague at the Icon hotel. Having read the other reviews we were confident that everything would be perfect and it was very close. Beds to die for, 10-15 mins walk from the old town centre and modern rooms with lots of nice features. We would definately recommend the Icon, though there we are few things worth noting. 1) The food wasn't great, breakfast was ok, but a chicken s/w from room service arrived undercooked 2) The bar isn't always available as they had 2 private events which closed it for the early part of the evening Re Prague itself, make sure you dress for walking, its such a small centre everything is on foot and with winter setting in, dress warm and try to do a walking tours, they are ideal for learning about the place.Another must do is to find live music, there is so much make sure you take advantage, the guide books will point you in the right direction Hope you have a great time :-)
