I stayed at the Juno Hotel from Nov 8, 2007 - Nov 13, 2007. I had a wonderful stay. Although I asked for a single, they gave me a double bedroom, which was very much appreciated because of the extra space. The walk from the hotel to the metro wasn't bad at all. It was just a 6-8 minute, plus a 10-15 ride to town. The trains came every 5-7 minutes. The neighborhood was a pretty safe area - mostly residental (in the daytime I saw elderly people food shopping and walking their dogs). The location was ideal for me. It was right next to a huge supermarket so I could get anything I needed easily. And it was peaceful after a full day in town. The room was large and cozy (very bright lights). They separate the toliet from the shower, which was a nice touch. The shower was excellent! I'm 5'2" (62 inches), so the size of the shower was good for me, but for anyone taller or heavy set, it could get a bit cramped. The water pressure was great!! I actually had to lower it a bit because it was so strong that at times, it stung a little. Room was made everyday. They gave me new towels everyday, but the maid only vacuumed my room once while I was there. They gave a pretty large selection for breakfast - served hot and cold foods (they had great cereal chocked full of fiber!). There's also one computer in the resturant where you can access free internet (the mouse was difficult to move around, but hey, it was free). The sitting room got very smokey and loud in the evenings, but I was on the 7th floor, so it didn't bother me much. I had quiet neighbors so I have no complaints about the noise, though the walls are thin. They also have a great heating systems so I had so worries about getting cold at night. I actually had to turn down the heater because the room got too warm. The good thing is that you can control the settings yourself, and it actually works. Juno is a good hotel, and for the price I paid, it was better than what I expected.

First of all, complaints about this hotel being really far away from transport and the city center are greatly exaggerated. It took us about 6 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Metro, and another 10-15 on the train to get to any of the stops for Old Town, New Town and Prague Castle areas. I live in Chicago and this is below average for commuting times to get anywhere in a city. As far as the hotel itself, it was simple and comfortable. Most of the staff spoke English and if they didn't, they spoke German. There was a nice little bar and basic restaurant on site as well. Free breakfast in included. The only complaint is that it was a bit noisy. The walls and ceilings are very thin and we could hear people partying a few times, but after letting the front desk know, the noise stopped. Overall, a nice affordable place to stay.
