The National Gallery, Hlavní nádraží Metro Station and Prague’s main railway station are all a 5-minute walk from the Sovereign. The Old Town is 15 minutes away on foot.

Located in the centre of Prague just off Wenceslas Square, the city's cafes, restaurants, shops and all the major tourist attractions are just a short walk away from the hotel.

Location

On the corner of Politickych Veznu and Opletalova Streets, the hotel is in the very heart of Prague’s historic city centre, next to the city’s famous Wenceslas Square and just 100 metres from Prague’s main train station, Hlavni Nadrazi.

The Hotel Sovereign is close to the luxury shops of the elegant Na Prikope Street and within walking distance of most of Prague’s beautiful historic monuments and tourist attractions. The National Museum, the State Opera, Old Town Square with the astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, the Municipal House, the National Theatre and many other attractions are all just a short walk away from the hotel.

East of the hotel lies the elegant area of Vinohrady with its charming architecture and gardens.

A buffet breakfast is served in the non-smoking restaurant from 07:00 until 10:00, on Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 until 10:30.

The restaurant and bar Epicure follows the axiom of the Greek philosopher Epicurus: “Happiness or enjoyment is the summum bonum of life”. Our chef, Mr. Pavel Zalesky has created a tempting combination of a standard menu and a daily choice of speciality dishes, based on the availability of fresh ingredients. So you will find something different on the menu every day.

The Epicure offers a wide selection of French and local wines and is fully air-conditioned. The Restaurant and bar is open daily from 11:00 to 23:00.

A very convenient location to most tourist spots and great hotel. In addition the service good and the reception staff were excellent - everything from check-in. The bathroom was clean, breakfast was simple.

Museum metro stop is 2 mins away in wenceslas square, fine hotel at good location on a quiet corner and the rooms are bright.

Good location and hotel taxi service to the airport was convenient. The staff was helpful and internet access was available and reliable. Food smelt delicious we did not get around to trying.
