Great location and newly refurbished, the hotel provides everything you need for a stay in Prague. It is a few minutes walk from good restaurants, on a quiet street and has very friendly staff who are keen to help out. The hotel has modern decor with high ceilings and great bathrooms, is kept very clean and gives a good breakfast before a day out on foot. The two glass lifts kept the children happy for ages.

We stayed at the hotel PAV June 2008. All the reports I had previuosly read were correct. Don't go expecting something fantastic, but if you want good clean value for money accomodation, you'd be hard pushed to beat the PAV. The location is great, far enough out to avoid the rowdy crowds at night, but with easy access to all the main sights. Yes the staff can be a bit off, but how often do you want to interact. There is no 'full english' breakfast, but there was plenty of choice. The hotel is bright, clean and airy. Go to the PAV if you like good clean mid range hotels, don't go if you want top range service and products.

Just got back from the hotel Pav. Like most others in this review space I really liked the hotel. I'd recommend to allm to ask for 5th floor rooms in Summer, they have aircon ;-0. Location was great with a top pub next door, come out of the hotel turn right. Great beer and lovely beer garden with entertainment. Next door to that was a Czech restaurant, great quality food and great beer again. A meal (mixed grill) for 6 with drinks was under ?60. For those who like the Amsterdam "way", come out of the hotel, turn left, left again and cross the road to Kenny's Bar. All in all a great location, with all the options close by including walking trips to old town, Jewish Q, Charles bridge etc all in 10-15 mins
