We were traveling by car, so it was not problem for us, that the hotel was far from city center. But we really enjoyed plaiyng tennis (for extra payment of about 20-25$), sauna and swimming pool. The room was standart, but comfortable. Internet costs additional 15$ per day, but parking near the entrance was free. Probably, we will return there in a couple of months.

We were booking a double room, but were given a twin room upon arrival. The front desk staff gave us another double room, but it was relatively small. Even as hotel guest, you need to pay for using the garage. Even though the card in your room suggests that you deposit your valuables at the front desk. But if you want to deposit it there, you also need to pay for using the reception deposit for valuables. The front desk staff also suggested that it is not necessary to deposit... The barman was more interested in the tv program (not soccer match!) than helping the guests. For a four-star hotel, the facility is not really that good. There is no bathtub in the bathtub. People smoke in the hotel lobby. Very unrare these days... On the good side, the breakfast is very rich!

Although the hotel offers good services, the staff is not very friendly some of them speak poor English. Nice breakfast, but the lady from the breakfast room should be more pleasant and helpful! Nice executive rooms, the standard ones do not meet the 4* hotel standards!

I have just returned from a six night stay at the Hotel Cechie with my family. This was my second stay there, and I rate the experience as "neutral" as I did the first time. The hotel is clean, spacious and the executive rooms are well-furnished with comfortable beds. The breakfast was good. The sporting facilities were also satisfactory. As with Prague generally, my only real complaint were the sour-faced staff who were not welcoming or helpful. By UK standards the hotel seems very, very overmanned with bored, surly staff doing very little. I found the sports staff particularly unhelpful.
