Hotel is in a fabulous location, just 2 mins from Old Town Square, yet in a quiet street. Metro and tram stops are also just a couple of minutes away (N?m?st? Republiky).
The room (610) was perfectly adequate; there were no tea and coffee making facilities, but then again I don't go on holiday to sit in my hotel room drinking tea. Room was reasonably sized, quiet (my room faced away from the front of the hotel), and well equipped with TV, phone and a decent-sized bath & shower. Nice to have a safe in the room. The maids did a fantastic job of cleaning the room each day.
I would have reservations about staying in the _03 & _04 rooms on each floor (e.g. 603 or 604 on 6th floor) as these were next to the door to the stairway/lifts, and these doors tended to slam shut quite loudly.
Hotel staff were very helpful; two of them spent over 10 minutes each trying to find me a phone number for Air France, and one even offered to get one of the staff to post my mail, even though there is a post-box on the outside of the exterior wall of the hotel!
Breakfast was pretty good; a decent selection of hot and cold food each day, and the staff kept it freshly topped up until the 10am deadline.
I booked as part of a package, but subtracting the value of the scheduled flight, I paid roughly ?50 per night for a double room for single use. Given that double occupancy is normally just slightly more expensive than single, I would say the hotel offers great value for money. I will certainly consider it again on my next trip to Prague.
