Eurostars David Hotel is well located,attractive option in Prague. I concur with the reviews of others but would like to mention that the room safes are not attached to the wall in any manner which, in my opinion, renders them somewhat worthless. The hotel was not very helpful in telling us how to obtain opera tickets or a personal guide. Perhaps this is because it is a new hotel. We would definitley recommend this hotel to others.

Beautiful renovated building just across the edge of 1st district into the 2nd and definitely walking distance to what we wanted to see, without being in a busy noisy area. Close to the river, but quiet with 2 small groceries nearby and a number of nearby eating places, too. Close to TRAM. Definitely away from the tourist crowds but not too far to get to anywhere one wants in the old city. Exquisitely appointed modern rooms. Large and well equipped, and superb delicious breakfast and accommodating staff. Multilingual staff, well versed in English and Spanish, as well as local languages. Would certainly stay there again.

Original reservation was to Eurostar David but we were transferred to Eurostar Thalia. Evaluation is concerning Thalia. Hotel was supposed to be 5 stars, but in reality 4 is enough. Specially breakfast was poorly organised even for a 4 star hotel. Most of the time part of the dishes were empty, cups were running out etc. The bar tender was friendly, as also the rest of the personnel, but had no clue what he was doing. 90% of the bar menu was not available. If we had to pay the original price of Thalia, we would have been more disappointed. For the David price this was OK.
